I’m a writer and editor. I’m a wife and mother to a toddler and an overweight tabby. And I was diagnosed with breast cancer and the BRCA2 gene mutation at age 37.

That last bit obviously wasn’t something I was expecting to deal with at this point in my life.

As a writer, recording my thoughts and feelings is pretty much second nature. This blog serves as my diary of sorts, to share my experiences fighting cancer and dealing with the aftermath of this disease.
